Luckily this is on the edge of my stitching. Even so. Not what I wanted to happen.

  1. I hope you can get this out; I had this happen to me; I tried a paste of Oxyclean but it didn't work; I ended up cutting off the excess fabric and throwing the rest away. Talk about upset!!! If you manage to get the stain out, please let me know how you did it! Thanks..........

  2. Argh, no that's heart breaking... however...

At least HAED are solid stitched, so you can't really see the fabric underneath, as this is a bit that hasn't been stitched on I reckon if you stitched over it you wouldn't be able to see it.
You could always stain a scrap and try stitching over it to see how it looks!

  4. Luckily the stain will be covered by stitches, right? If that is the case, it won't actually be visible once the project is finished.

  5. Oh, no!!!! Still, the coffee stain will be covered up, so no REAL harm done. After all, she could have spilled it on a place you had already stitched!!!! Good luck keeping it from happening again!!!
